Young Audience Award in Georgia

Overview

Over 3000 teenagers formed the biggest film jury and choose the YAA Winner

Every year, thousands of young film enthusiasts aged 12-14 from across Europe, watch three nominated films in cinemas and online and select a winner of the Young Audience Award. It is an official category of the European Film Awards and young teenagers form the biggest Film Jury in the world.

The winners are being chosen by young juries in 42 European countries watching three films online as well as in over 60 movie theatres in more than 70 European cities. The Young Audience Award (YAA) is also part of the European Film Club, a film platform and network across the continent for teenagers to come together to watch and discuss European films and make their own.

In 2022 the Award Ceremony took place on 13 November 2022 in Erfurt (Germany) and will also be streamed on the YAA website: yaa.europeanfilmaawards.eu.
